There was only one way Cinco Ranch could possibly improve on its ranking as the nation’s number two community for new-home sales last year – by moving up to the number one spot. And that’s exactly what we did! With almost 900 new homes sold in 2009, Cinco Ranch is the number one ranked community in the nation, according to a new study just released by RCLCO, a national real estate advisory firm. One of the few communities on RCLCO’s Top 10 list with positive sales growth, Cinco Ranch was number one by a wide margin. While the accolades are great, we give the credit to our new homeowners, our longtime residents, and our loyal Realtor friends. We couldn’t be number one without you!
Can you say "Taekwondo" in Spanish?

These are just a few of the popular activities offered by CincoLife, the community service organization that helps put even more life into Cinco Ranch. There are also cooking classes, art lessons for kids and adults, Zumba classes, Movies in The Park, and special events celebrating everything from Easter and Father’s Day, to July 4th and Back to School. Most activities are free, although a few require a nominal fee. For a list of upcoming activities, visit our community Intranet www.MyCincoRanch.com.
If this sounds like a lot of fun, we can't take all the credit. CincoLife could be called "CincoListens," because some of our best ideas come from Cinco Ranch residents!
10 Cinco Ranch schools on "Higher Performing Schools" list
Ten of the 13 Katy ISD schools serving Cinco Ranch students are included in the 2009 Just for the Kids Higher Performing Schools list compiled by the National Center for Educational Achievement. Just released, the list is based on academic growth among schools with similar demographics.
Cinco Ranch schools included on the list were Seven Lakes and Cinco Ranch high schools; Beck, McMeans and Beckendorff junior high schools; and Rylander, Kilpatrick, Exley, Griffin and Fielder elementary schools. Because the NCEA reviews three years of test data to create the list, some of the newer schools in Cinco Ranch were not eligible for inclusion. Overall, 22 Katy ISD campuses made the list. Way to go Katy ISD!
Twelve of the Katy ISD schools serving Cinco Ranch have Exemplary ratings, the highest possible accreditation rating from the Texas Education Agency.*
